Features: : It has to do with a demanding grape variety, which is cultivated and controlled successfully in the heart of Crete and then via targeted vinification and long and suitable ageing, this balanced wine is brought out with a full body and very good tannins which has to undergo further ageing.
2017 was a year with a generous winter for Crete and lots of snow on the mountains, which gave to the vines water and valuable nutrients. Grapes matured slowly and gave us excellent quality and ‘isorropia’ (balance in Greek). Full bodied wine with intense characteristics of wild berries, dried dates, ol spice, cinammon and tobacco. A delightful wine to enjoy it now. Decant it for an hour before serving.
